From slits & spirals to complex-driven Loewner hulls

The introduction of Schramm Loewner evolution 25 years ago inspired renewed interest in studying the deterministic Loewner equation and the question of how characteristics of driving functions affect the geometry of the corresponding Loewner hulls. Geometric behavior has ranged from slits and spirals to space-filling curves, and drivers have ranged from smooth to complex-valued. This talk will explore a sample of results, highlighting some of the many contributions of Steffen Rohde.
