Curves, trees, surfaces and Yang-Mills gauge theory
I will give an overview of several recent results on Yang-Mills gauge theory, along with several open problems
in the area. In particular, I will explain (and illustrate consequences of) the fact that the “Wilson loop
expectations” in gauge theory models can be understood as ”loop insertion costs” in related surface ensemble
models.
