Math Summer School
In 2011, I was approached by Jacobs University (JU) to help with the creation of communications and marketing material for the “International Mathematical Summer School for Students”. A new project that was to run between JU and École Normale Supérieure, Lyon, alternating every year between the two universities. A last minute invitation to join the team, all materials were designed and produced in less than a month while staying within budget!
I accompanied the Summer School throughout, from creation of all communications and planning material, to the actual week-long event to take photographs. Many of my photos were later published in a special edition of The American Mathematical Monthly.
In 2013, I was approached again for this event. With a bit more time than in 2011, I was able to create a more elaborate branding and produced a variety of communication materials.
Creation of geometric Bremer Town Musicians and a tiling using those animal shapes. Logo-Type and mascot (town musicians). Poster, t-shirt, caps, mugs, stickers, Facebook header, sandwich board, campus map branding. Multiple forms, texts + layout.
