Jana Kleineberg

Graphic Designer & Illustrator

Originally from Berlin, Germany, I studied printing, and graphic design & illustration in Seattle, USA. I gained design experience working several years for Ducks Unlimited (DU), a non-profit conservation organisation. At DU, I was responsible for the design of reports, posters, brochures and much more in an 18-state region across the northeastern United States. Working in close cooperation with the main office in Tennessee, I managed to improve and enhance all aspects of our office’s communications materials while learning the ins and outs of in-house design.

In 2011, I  started a full time freelancing business. Since then, I have worked for numerous clients as a freelance designer with the main focus on branding and information design

I am a full team member of two research-focused networks dedicated to sustainability (AU4DM and Sea++). Since 2020, I have worked as a part-time information design consultant for FAO in collaboration with Polina Levontin (Imperial College, London).
